Travel Tuesday: Yellowstone National Park

Watch my travel vlog here.

Growing up, our major family trips were across the U.S. My mother loves national parks and is passionate about visiting as many as she can, but her favorite has always been Yellowstone National Park. I visited for the first time when I was nine, and then again when I graduated high school. My favorite part was always the horseback trail rides, which took you through the wilderness into areas you couldn’t see from the road. I grew up riding horses, and it was always a passion of mine. Travel Tuesday: 24 Hours in New York City

Recently, I visited New York City for the first time since I was six years old. Why did it take me 18 years to go back to the city that never sleeps, which is only a four-hour drive from my D.C. home? Travel Tuesday: Toronto, Canada

Happy Travel Tuesday! This week, I will be sharing with you the highlights of my most recent trip to Toronto, Canada. Canada has been on my travel bucket list for the past few years, and Toronto did not disappoint! I can’t wait to go back to Canada and explore more of this beautiful country.

My boyfriend Andres (@aces_journals) and I rented a car and made the 10-hour trip up to Toronto from Washington, D.C., stopping along the way to see Niagara Falls. Coming from someone who has traveled solo most of the time, I loved having someone to talk and laugh with during the car ride, and the drive was surprisingly easy. The time spent travelling together is what I cherish the most from this trip, and I can’t wait to see where our next adventures take us. Continue reading “Travel Tuesday: Toronto, Canada”

This year I have begun to cultivate a more conscious work lifestyle, from how I get to work to what I eat during lunch. Here are my essentials for a more conscious, less wasteful work life: Continue reading “7 Eco-Work Essentials”
