Ever since my teenage years hit me, I’ve had the constant struggle of waking up in the morning. I always feel groggy and it takes me a solid hour before I feel like I can start doing work. But as Tim Ferriss said, “If you win the morning, you win the day.” Which is why I have been working on perfecting my own morning routine to make sure my day is as productive, successful, and enjoyable as possible. Travel Tuesday: Toronto, Canada

Happy Travel Tuesday! This week, I will be sharing with you the highlights of my most recent trip to Toronto, Canada. Canada has been on my travel bucket list for the past few years, and Toronto did not disappoint! I can’t wait to go back to Canada and explore more of this beautiful country.

My boyfriend Andres (@aces_journals) and I rented a car and made the 10-hour trip up to Toronto from Washington, D.C., stopping along the way to see Niagara Falls. Coming from someone who has traveled solo most of the time, I loved having someone to talk and laugh with during the car ride, and the drive was surprisingly easy. My Favorite Eco-Blogs

In case you haven’t noticed, I am a firm believer in an eco-friendly and sustainable lifestyle. While I’m not perfect, I have been working towards making more conscious choices in fashion, food, and everyday actions. Because this lifestyle has just started to receive some recognition, I definitely needed some help along the way. This trip was the escape I needed. With four months of working through the busiest time of the year and trying to cross things off on an infinite to-do list, I knew I was nearing my breaking point. As someone who recharges through travel, this trip couldn’t come fast enough. And when it was finally time to board my flight to Caye Caulker, I couldn’t have been happier.
