Day 1: Monday

I like to start out my week with my most professional outfit to get myself back into the work mindset. Because most of my outfits this week are neutral (I’m a neutral gal, but I’m going to try and go out of my comfort zone and play with prints and color during this challenge), I added this red blazer to give some interest to my outfit. You’ll also notice this week that I am really digging espadrilles.

Travel Tuesday: Toronto, Canada

Happy Travel Tuesday! This week, I will be sharing with you the highlights of my most recent trip to Toronto, Canada. Canada has been on my travel bucket list for the past few years, and Toronto did not disappoint! I can’t wait to go back to Canada and explore more of this beautiful country.

My boyfriend Andres (@aces_journals) and I rented a car and made the 10-hour trip up to Toronto from Washington, D.C., stopping along the way to see Niagara Falls. Coming from someone who has traveled solo most of the time, I loved having someone to talk and laugh with during the car ride, and the drive was surprisingly easy. The time spent travelling together is what I cherish the most from this trip, and I can’t wait to see where our next adventures take us. Continue reading “Travel Tuesday: Toronto, Canada”

7 Eco-Work Essentials

When is comes to creating a more eco-friendly and sustainable lifestyle, many people do not think about the decisions they make in the workplace. Here are my essentials for a more conscious, less wasteful work life: Continue reading “7 Eco-Work Essentials”

My Favorite Eco-Blogs

In case you haven’t noticed, I am a firm believer in an eco-friendly and sustainable lifestyle. Because this lifestyle has just started to receive some recognition, I definitely needed some help along the way. I took to Instagram to find accounts and blogs that would inspire me, give me tips, and help me become more educated on the subject. Here are my favorite people that I have learned from, and have helped me with my steps toward sustainability. Continue reading “My Favorite Eco-Blogs”

Travel Tuesday: Belize

Watch my travel vlog here.

This trip was the escape I needed. With four months of working through the busiest time of the year and trying to cross things off on an infinite to-do list, I knew I was nearing my breaking point. As someone who recharges through travel, this trip couldn’t come fast enough. And when it was finally time to board my flight to Caye Caulker, I couldn’t have been happier.

February Eco-Favorites

Happy March! I know February is the shortest month of the year, but I felt like I blinked, and it was over. When you’re reading this, I will have just gotten back from Belize! I had been looking forward to this trip for months, and an unplug was exactly what I needed. And don’t worry, a Travel Tuesday will be coming with my top picks.

As 2019 has progressed, I’ve been delving into my resolution of sustainability and learning more about eco-products. It’s so interesting to me how many products we can switch out for most sustainable alternatives, and I love how much popularity it’s gaining! While I’ve spent hours looking at ingredients and researching brands to make the best choices for me and the environment, I’ve compiled my favorites, so you don’t have to!
